Mr. David Kirvalidze
Former Minister of Agriculture and the Head of the Parliamentary Agrarian Issues Committee

Mr. Kirvalidze has a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, and currently is the Full Professor at the Georgian Agriculture University. In addition to an extensive experience and knowledge of Georgian agriculture, the food sector and the rural affairs, Mr. Kirvalidze has a long-standing international experience in the design and implementation of development programs in agriculture, and along with his academic work has also been serving as a member of the Supervisory Board of Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA), a US based international development agency.

Mr. Shalva Pipia
Former Minister and Deputy Minister of Agriculture

Mr. Pipia has an MBA in Finance, and an extensive management experience both in public and private sectors. Mr. Pipia has served in senior positions of several USAID and MCC funded projects in agriculture sector.

Mr. David Shervashidze
Former First Deputy Minister and the Minister of Agriculture of Georgia

Mr. Shervashidze is a certified agronomist with an extensive field experience both as a producer and as an advisor. Presently, Mr. Shervashidze, holds senior executive positions at several international programs in agricultural and rural development including Georgian Rural Development Fund managed by SEAF, Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund, etc.

Mr. Ilia Kvitaishvili
Former Deputy Minister of Agriculture

While holding senior position in the Government, Mr. Kvitaishvili was responsible for policy and strategy development, and coordination of the donor support activities. Mr. Kvitaishvli has an MA in Agribusiness Management, and over 10 years of regional experience with the World Bank and other donor funded agricultural development projects in senior executive positions.
